The day runs from 9:50am until around 3:00pm, so a packed lunch is needed, and consists of a group riding lesson in the morning, stable management lessons and a second riding lesson in the afternoon. The children are supervised while being encouraged to learn more about their ponies and perform various tasks & quizzes.
The Stable Management areas covered include;
- Handling Horses
- Tacking up
- Safety
- Grooming
- Feeding
- Care & Maintenance of Tack
- Looking after a Horse or Pony at Grass.
- The Colours & Markings of Horses.
On the final day we hold a small competition for the children, where everyone gains a certificate.
The cost of the course is; 1 Day = £35, 2 Days = £63 & 3 Days = £90

Summer 2011 - Pony Courses
The Pony Courses run for 3 days each Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday commencing the week beginning 4th July & running until the final week beginning 15th August 2011.
Children are able to attend one, two or all three days.
