The following sets out the restrictions we will be working to, when we initially reopen: We will be taking 1/2 hr private’s only. These can be up to 2 riders from the same household & will be flatwork sessions only. We ask that it is only the rider that comes onto the yard. Parents/guardians should stay in the car waiting for the return of their rider(s). We are using the bottom car park at the moment (beside the American barn). Lessons must be from 8.30am with the last session starting at 3pm. Lessons are only open to pre-existing Houston clients who are experienced and can efficiently & safely brush/tack their horses/ponies, mount & adjust equipment plus put away their horses & untack, unassisted. All clients must sanitise their hands before and after working with the ponies/horses. All clients must bring their own sanitised equipment i.e hats, boots, including gloves which must be washed after each use. All clients must follow the Government self distance guidance, at ALL times. Clients should arrive 15 minutes before the lesson to organise their ponies/horses & get mounted. After the session has finished and the horse/tack is safely put away they should head directly home. Bookings can be arranged by email (enquiries@hfrs.co.uk). Payment by bank transfer is preferred or cash/voucher in sealed envelope with your name, date & time of session written on.
